Martin Tantow is a serial entrepreneur and senior executive with a proven track record in developing & executing high-growth e-commerce, mobile telecoms, software & online media strategies. He is a consequently results-driven global business leader and innovator who has co-founded three companies and served as a senior advisor for top management consulting firms. As an acknowledged expert in mobile Internet, cloud computing and digital marketing, he advises several venture funded organizations.
Martin is Managing Director of Amiro Group, Inc. The company builds partnerships with game-changing tech entrepreneurs and investors, providing them with global insights and advice to build successful consumer and enterprise software companies. He is also Founder & Editor-in-Chief of CloudTimes, a leading technology media property, dedicated to providing knowledge, research and breaking news on the Cloud.
As Engagement Manager for Booz & Company, Martin delivered strategic growth assessments for leading technology firm in the US and built the company’s footprint in Silicon Valley.
In 2007, Martin co-founded 3scale networks, a leading provider of cloud computing infrastructure with scalable & cost-efficient Web Service management tools. He built the company from zero to a leading player in the industry with renowned customers in e-commerce, online media, enterprise services and Internet infrastructure.
Previously, he was an Associate with Oliver Wyman where he orchestrated the commercial launch of two new mobile network operators in Europe and the Middle East, winning market leadership in each country within two years. For T-Mobile International he managed a global strategic mobile operator alliance with an accumulated EBITDA improvement of $200 million. He began his career with Siemens in 1997 and has also held management positions with Lufthansa, Droege & Comp and Viant.
Martin holds an MBA from Munich School of Management, Germany.
